Here's what my Microsoft Internet ExplorerTM looks like under Windows 2000®:
Open will download the software package and start it running as soon as the download is complete.
The downside of using this option is that you'll have to repeat the download process the next time you want to run the software.
A better strategy might be to select Save and store the software on your computer so you can run the installation/update program as often as you want.
Save will download the software package and store it on your computer.
This is the best option on computers with dial-up Internet connections because you can avoid repeating the time consuming download.
Cancel or Quit lets you stop right now without downloading.
Every Internet browser will ask the Open/Save question. But the screen displays on Opera, NetscapeTM or even different versions of Internet ExplorerTM will look different.
